RWTD exists to reconnect individuals with opportunity, stability, education, and purpose through structured youth mentorship, community service, and veteran-focused initiatives in El Paso, Texas.
Our mission is to empower individuals by rebuilding connections to community, employment, education, and personal development. We focus on practical, evidence-based support that restores confidence, dignity, and long-term sustainability.
A stronger, safer, and more resilient El Paso community where young people facing adversity and military veterans transitioning to civilian life find authentic relationships, mentors, and tangible pathways forward.
Rather than viewing youth only through the challenges they face, we provide opportunities for them to become leaders, accountable mentors, and active contributors to the neighborhoods they call home.

RWTD is built around real-life support, hands-on community service, and authentic human connection.
Designed for young people who may be experiencing chronic absenteeism, academic challenges, minor offenses, justice involvement, or family instability. Our core eight-week program pairs 2-hour weekday educational and mentoring sessions with hands-on weekend community service projects.
Community service is the cornerstone of our mission. Participants engage in environmental restoration, neighborhood cleanup campaigns, and civic service alongside veterans, first responders, and local businesses.
Operating through our partner program Recker’s Outreach LLC, we support military veterans in El Paso County experiencing housing instability or transition hurdles.
A dedicated volunteer service assisting older adults (ages 60+) and disabled veterans maintain safe, code-compliant residential properties across El Paso.
